How to grow sprouts
There are many varieties of sprouts, including bean sprouts, Toona sinensis buds, peanut bud, asparagus bean sprouts, radish buds and more than 30 varieties. Sprouts are very common vegetables with comprehensive nutrition, beauty, anti-cancer and longevity.

So how are sprouts usually grown? Today, Bian Xiao will take you to learn how to grow bean sprouts.

1, seed selection and seed soaking

Generally speaking, seeds suitable for planting sprouts should be selected with large particles, fast sprout growth, strong hypocotyl, strong disease resistance, high emergence rate, high economic benefit, good quality and strong adaptability to the environment. Before sowing, clean the plants, select high-quality seeds without pests and damage, then wash both sides with clear water and soak them in warm water of about 25 degrees. In the process of seed soaking, water needs to be changed twice. When the water absorption of seeds reaches the maximum, seed soaking is completed and the mucus attached to seeds is washed away.

2, seedling tray processing

Before sowing, the seedling tray should be prepared, cleaned and disinfected. Brush the seedlings first, then soak them in quicklime water, take them out after five or six minutes, and rinse them with clear water. Finally, spread a layer of substrate on the seedling tray, and then carry out sowing management below.

3. Scientific sowing

Pay attention to the consistency of seedling tray and the uniformity of sowing when sowing. Don't bump the second fertilizer after sowing, so as not to cause the seeds to shake and sow unevenly. For the substrate laid on the seedling tray, it is necessary to pour an appropriate amount of nutrient solution to soak the substrate, and then spread the seeds evenly on the seedling tray with a thickness of about 1.5 cm. After sowing, the seedling tray should be moved to a well-ventilated place with oblique sunlight.

4. Disk management

With the growth of sprouts, we need to gradually increase the light intensity. When sprouts are harvested, we need to move the seedlings to the sun to grow. In the process of cultivating sprouts, we need to spray water three or four times a day, and the sprouts planted in winter and spring only need to spray water two or three times, but we should pay attention to not spraying too much.

Generally, the humidity in the air is kept at about 85% and ventilated twice a day. If the temperature is cold, it needs a short period of ventilation. Generally, it can be harvested in a week or so, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate can also be sprayed. The sprouts at this time are tender and have the best taste.
