The cause of mother's illness
This summer vacation, I not only formed the habit of helping my mother do housework every day, but also learned a new skill-cooking.

I remember one day, my mother suddenly had a high fever and couldn't get out of bed, so she had to lie in bed and rest. When my mother was ill, she gave me a big problem. No one does all the housework, and I can't even eat. I usually just help my mother do some simple housework and never cook, which worries me. Looking at my mother's uncomfortable appearance, I couldn't bear to wake her up, so I had to do it myself. I remember my mother said that patients need to eat light food to have an appetite. What should they do? After much deliberation, I finally remembered. Sour noodle soup is light and appetizing. My mother made it for me when I was ill. I like them very much.

I learned my mother's usual cooking style. I'll wash the vegetables first, soak them in clean water, and then start boiling water. When the vegetables are almost soaked, wash them and hang them in the basket. Mom says noodles can't be cooked until the water boils. They can be eaten after cooking for about 5 minutes. There are many bubbles when water boils, so I open the lid and wait for the water to boil. Finally bubbling. I can't wait to put the noodles in the pot. Watching the watch cook for almost 5 minutes, I chopped the vegetables and put them in the pot, adding salt, vinegar and sesame oil. After turning off the fire, I breathed a sigh of relief and quickly found bowls and chopsticks to taste sour soup noodles. The salt is just right, but the noodles are a little too much, the soup is too strong, and the vinegar is too much, which is too sour. There's no way, so we'll just have to do it first. I brought a bowl to my mother, and she was moved to tears and praised me for growing up. Although the first time I made sour noodle soup was not very successful, I was still very happy, because I learned to cook and I could take care of my mother.

During the two days when my mother was ill, I did all the housework by myself, cleaning the table, sweeping the floor, cleaning the room, washing clothes and cooking. The most gratifying thing is the level of cooking. Under the guidance of my mother, I made rapid progress. I can cook simple meals, which is very fulfilling.

Through this exercise, I realized how hard my mother usually does housework. Help your mother share some housework when you are free in the future, and learn to cook more delicious food with your mother!
