0 1? Beiduchang

Five kilometers west of Qijiang River is Beiduchang, formerly known as Beiduxiang, which belongs to the suburb of the city. In the mid-1990s, the area was withdrawn and merged into the township, and Beidu Township was revoked and merged into Gunan Town, but Beiduchang Town remained, and it was flushed every 147.

BeiDuchang is located on the left bank of Qijiang River. Qijiang River is a first-class tributary on the right bank of the Yangtze River, passing from east to west from the north side of BeiDuchang. There is a ferry crossing the river in North Duchang. Although the other side of the river is a flower planting area in jiangjin district, it is generally called Beidu. National Highway 2 10 crosses the river.

The roads from Qijiang City to Yongxin Town, Zhongfeng Town and Jiangjin Simian Mountain all pass through BeiDuchang.

02? Beidu fish gourmet

A long time ago, for the convenience of eating, some fishermen at the crossing of the Qijiang River north cut the caught wild fish into pieces and put them in a boat pot, sprinkled a lot of spices such as pepper, pepper and garlic, and cooked them together, and they became fragrant and spicy fish.

At that time, national highway 2 10 was the main traffic artery in Sichuan and Guizhou. Roadside shops on both sides of the national highway promote the use of fishermen's cooking methods, which are deeply loved by passers-by

Later, some restaurant chefs developed pickled cabbage (tomato) fish and fish head wonton on the basis of spicy and hot fish. Finally, it evolved into a fish with three foods, namely spicy and hot fish, pickled cabbage (tomato) fish and fish head wonton.

The general way to eat three fish is to clean a grass carp or silver carp about 3 kg, remove the nails and gills, cut off the head of the fish and cook the soup, cut the fat part of the fish into thin fillets, and cut the remaining steak and tail into fish pieces. Finally, the fish pieces are made into spicy fish, the fish fillets are made into pickled cabbage (tomato) fish, and the fish heads are cooked in fish head soup to make fish head wonton.

To eat Beidu fish, you have to have peanuts, salted eggs, pig ears, cold diced lotus roots, seasonal cold dishes and other side dishes, and there is no extra charge.

Beidu fish, which can eat three fish at a time, has gradually developed into a gourmet business card of Qijiang since the 1980s. Many foreign guests came to Qijiang and asked for a taste of Beidu fish by name. Moreover, Qijiang people prefer to fish in Beidu when they receive foreign guests.

There are many Beidu Fish Villages in Qijiang City now. In July 2006, I traveled to Tibet and saw the "Qijiang Beidu Fish Shop" in Lhasa.

Beidu fish fossil

In 2006, when the expressway from Beidu to Zhongfeng was expanded, a fish fossil with a length of 70cm and a width of 43cm was excavated from the Jurassic Suining Formation near Beidu Middle School. Scales, tails and fins are clear and lifelike, and some people call them authentic Beidu fish.

20 1 1 Xing Lida (now an associate professor and paleontologist at China Geo University) and others studied the Beidu fish in Qijiang River and identified it as a new genus and species. Beidu fish fossil is a brand-new ancient fish fossil, a freshwater fish, belonging to the angle fish in the whole bone fish.

The scale-toothed fish has been completely extinct now, and the well-preserved fossils like Beidu fish are rare. The discovery of Beidu fish fossils is of great significance to the reconstruction of Jurassic paleontology in Chongqing.

At present, the exhibition of Beidu fish fossils is in Qijiang Museum, which is the treasure of Qijiang Museum.

03? Looking forward to the perfect combination of the two cultures.

The two northern hybrid fish have different cultural connotations. First, as a Jianghu dish, it conveys the food culture. One is paleontological fossils, which transmit geological culture.

I have been expecting the perfect combination of the two cultures to produce better publicity effect. For example, next to the Beidu fish stall in the museum, introduce the Beidu fish cuisine in Qijiang; Choose several reputable Beidu fish shops in Qijiang city, post posters of Beidu fish fossils, and publicize the scientific value of fish fossils.

In the summer of 20 15, a private TV station in Taiwan Province Province came to shoot the local characteristics of Qijiang River. The propaganda department of the district Committee recommended filming the Beidu Fish Food Geopark, and I was invited as an escort to participate in the whole process.

At noon, I filmed the practice of eating one fish and three fish in a Beidu fish shop in the city. After filming, I sat around the dining table and tasted the delicious Beidu fish. In the afternoon, the film crew went to the museum and Lianhua Baozhai to photograph Beidu fish fossils, dinosaur fossils and dinosaur footprint fossils respectively.

I very much hope that in the post-production, the promotional film can organically combine the delicious taste of Beida fish with its fossils, and produce a new cultural effect of Beida fish in Qijiang. It's a pity that I didn't receive the news of the promotional film later.
