The Origin of Bai Hao Silver Needle
Baihao Yinzhen, founded in 1796, is one of the six famous teas in China. Its origin is in Fujian, and its main producing areas are Fuding, Zherongzheng, Songxi and Jianyang. It is one of the top ten famous teas in China.
Its appearance is straight as a needle, covered with white hair, like silver as snow, and the finished tea is about 3cm long. Because the raw materials of fresh leaves are all tea buds, which are shaped like needles, densely covered with white hair and as white as silver, they are named white hair and silver needles.
Storage method of Bai Hao silver needle
If you want to store Bai Hao silver needles, you should first check the water content of Bai Bo silver needles. The lower the water content, the better. The inspection method is to gently rub with your fingers. If it is powder, it means that the water content is low and it can be stored. On the contrary, you should drink it as soon as possible, not for a long time.
Tin bottles, porcelain jars and colored glass bottles are the best containers for storing silver needles. Followed by tin cans, wooden boxes, bamboo boxes and so on. We should use plastic bags and cartons. Pickling containers should be dry and clean, and there should be no peculiar smell of tea. After being put into the container, it should be placed in a dry and ventilated place, not in a damp, high temperature, unclean and exposed place. Moreover, there should be no drugs, cosmetics and other articles with strong smell in the storage place.
