In the autumn of the second year of Tang Dynasty (759), Li Bai finally returned to Yuezhou from Yelang's exile. At this time, Li's uncle assistant minister of punishments was banished to Lingnan, and the two met in Yuezhou. Prior to this, Jia Vegetation, a calligrapher in China and a friend of Li Bai, was exiled to Yuezhou. The same experience, the same state of mind, so the three met to swim in Dongting under the moon, and Li Bai wrote seven poems during his visit to the lake. One of them wrote: "South Lake is smokeless at autumn night. Can you ride straight to the sky? Let's buy wine and Bai Yunbian in the moonlight in Dongting. " The whole poem is full of excitement and fantasy, which creates a heroic image cruising on the lake and soaring in the moonlight, and shows the poet's free pursuit of life. The first sentence describes the scenery, and the words are natural and memorable. Dongting wins and loses thousands, and the scenery is different at four seasons. This sentence is "autumn water", which is clear and seasonal, suggesting that the lake is crystal clear. The word "smokeless" further describes the clear night sky on the lake-because the autumn is crisp and the moon is white and the wind is clear, it feels that the long smoke is empty and particularly bright. The whole sentence is written from clear water to clear sky. The moon is thousands of miles, sparkling, clear water and blue sky, giving people the feeling that people are traveling in a world of pictorial, and their hearts are flying in the air. The other three sentences indulge in fantasy, express crazy ideas and express freedom. I want to follow the vast autumn waters, feel bright and clear, sail in the sky and travel around the world. The meanings of "forbearance" and "freedom" express the poet's romantic feelings of accepting everything and spiritual freedom in a questioning tone. The word "going straight to heaven" is absolutely impossible, seemingly whimsical, but it truly reflects the poet's desire to transcend reality and float into the world. Second, I want to give credit to the bright moon. I want to tell you that money is sweet, the moon is bright and poetry is empty. The word "credit" has the meaning of borrowing from Dongting, which means that the lake is a person and the fantasy is interesting. The 800-mile Dongting looks like an invisible master, great beauty and great wealth. It has priceless treasures such as lakes and mountains, cool breeze and bright moon, and is very generous and hospitable, so it is also generous to borrow it. With the word "credit", man and nature have a dialogue and exchange. Poets who have suffered from the freedom of life for a long time, it is in this deep heart-to-heart relationship with nature that they pour out their anguish and delight their hearts, thus gaining the freedom of body and mind. At the same time, the "credit" month is in my arms and yours. It can be seen that the poet has long been fascinated by the moon and cherished it. Moon entrusts the poet's noble, refined, free and naive mind, and also reflects the poet's disgust and disdain for fame and honor. Only a fantastic and romantic person like Li Bai can think of it, and only a free-spirited person like Li Bai can deserve it. Third, I want to sail alone, enter Baiyun Restaurant, and enjoy wine tasting and the moon. There will be no wine on a sunny night, and if the vast world does not accept its heart, it will sing and drink wildly and get drunk in the sky! Li Bai's unrestrained temperament is vividly displayed between the white clouds and the bright moon!

In this way, the whole poem swims in Dongting at night, expressing feelings through the cool breeze and bright moon. Every word is not a whimsy, and every word is not a voice of freedom. Suffering from exile and imprisonment, Li Bai finally found his long-awaited freedom in the vast world of Dongting Lake.
