Hi~ I am Lilith, a beautiful nurse who cannot go out to Beijing due to work reasons and can only travel around Beijing immersively. This is my third year.
During the past three years of running around Beijing, I discovered that Beijing has a very interesting hidden method, which is collecting stamps. Collecting seals is actually not a hobby developed after YQ. I started collecting stamps while traveling a long time ago, but it was not systematic. When I ran around Beijing later, I discovered that there are so many places where you can collect stamps.
Actually, I am a person who likes collecting. I have been collecting tickets and introducing folding pages since I was a child. But in the past few years, many things have been quietly changing, such as the need to control the flow of people, and basically all places have turned to online registration information to make reservations in advance, which makes tickets for museum attractions increasingly scarce.
It would be unrealistic for me to list all the stamps in Beijing here, but I can list one category, which is also the place where I first discovered that there are stamps in Beijing, which is the pass stamp.
Beijing travel is really very conscientious in terms of ticket costs. But there are also a range of annual passes and passes that will cost you less. The pass stamp is for museum pass users, stamping a representative on the booklet to come once.
Here, I have selected some ancient buildings to introduce. I hope you will like my answer.
The farthest one here is probably Fangshan Yunju Temple. I have never seen anyone post information about the seal here before. When I went to collect blessings and get Laba Rice at the beginning of this year, I went to the ticket office and asked if I could buy it. I happened to see the stamp on the table when I was paying for the paper ticket. I asked tentatively and then it was stamped for me. Zhang is the north tower in the temple. It was built in the Liao Dynasty. It is quite rare for the tower to have several forms integrated into one.
The most unexpected surprise was Fayuan Temple. Fayuan Temple actually stopped selling tickets very early, and it even closed its doors after YQ, so I missed this year’s lilac season. I had something to do while driving there that day, so take a look When several monks pushed open the door and entered, they asked the uncle guarding the door with a try attitude. The uncle said that the seal was there but he didn't know if the ink was enough. After covering it, it would be clearer. The content of the chapter is Vairocana Buddha in the main hall.
The most beautiful chapter is probably the magnolia chapter of Dajue Temple. This is the only temple among the temples that does not use buildings but trees. The magnolia of Dajue Temple was planted in the Ming Dynasty, and its characteristic feature is that the flowers bloom like discs. .
Several text stamps in the pass stamp come from Wen Tianxiang Temple, Deshengmen Ancient Coin Museum, Ancient Pottery Museum and Grand View Garden. The slogan of Wen Tianxiang Temple is "the heaven and the earth are righteous", and the words vividly describe the person. The ancient coin museum in Deshengmen has been closed. The pass stamp is "Nine Gates Admiral". As for the Grand View Garden and the Ancient Pottery Museum, it is very intuitive~
Let's talk about the architectural pattern stamp, the Ancient Architecture Museum That is to say, the chapter of Xiannongtan is his farming viewing platform, where you can see the "one-third of an acre" of the previous emperor. The seal of Dongyue Temple comes from its archway. Although the temple is under renovation and is not accessible, the archway is across the street and can be viewed at any time. Although the temple is undergoing major renovations, the seal is in the hands of the security guard outside the door and can be rebuilt at any time. This is very friendly. The seal of the Zhihua Temple is the lotus throne; the stone carving museum is the Five Pagoda Temple; the Tianyi Tomb is the stone statue; the bell and drum towers all use the same seal, which is the shape of the bell tower.
The last is the special exhibit. The Liaojin City Wall Museum is one of the few underground sewer museums in Beijing. The small seal is from the exhibits, and the seal of the Confucius Temple is also interesting. It is a writing brush. It was stamped for the first time. Torch was also laughed at by the staff.
I also have some experience with collecting stamps here:
First of all, before stamping, think about whether you want to do it on a whim or for a long time. Now, under the guidance of our large group of stamping people, Beijing should be the city with the most cultural and creative products and stamping points. In some places, such as the Forbidden City, they previously published a book "Forbidden City 100". At that time, many cultural and creative works in the Forbidden City used this as a carrier to publish a lot of chapters. It also makes sense to buy one book and a set. In addition, some cultural and creative stores can stamp for free but need to buy a stamped book from them.
Secondly, choose a suitable carrier, that is, paper selection. These cultural and creative stamps are really beautiful, especially the atomic stamps have extremely detailed patterns, so the best carrier is at least blank. Then it depends on your preference. I have always used the original seal with white pages, but it has been somewhat inconvenient for several years. First of all, some places in Beijing that can stamp only a few stamps that will not change, and some places will introduce new ones at any time. If the place is updated at any time, I think it is more suitable to use loose-leaf paper or white cardboard. In this way, you can group the ones in one place together so that you can know which ones you haven't covered when you add stamps.
Third, whether the stamp will have a big economic impact on you. It is also because of our group of stampers that cultural and creative shops in many places will make some stamps for you to stamp, but you need to spend money. Don’t build it just for the sake of covering it, see if it’s what you like and need. Later, in order to control excessive consumption, we stampers usually work with a few people who have good relationships. For example, if I go to this place, I can do it for others, or if the place is too far away, the time and transportation costs are too high, we can help each other.
Fourth, some advice on stamping, you should cherish these stamps, don’t stamp them violently, and don’t use them randomly because you don’t have suitable paper. Previously, Zhang You complained that someone stuffed toilet paper into the stamping machine, causing the machine to get jammed. I have also encountered a phenomenon like the Civil Aviation Museum where all airlines are stamped but several are lost after just one day of taking them out.
I have to say that stamping is a physical job. You can’t go to many places once and then stop going again. Continuous new updates are also to maintain the vitality of these museums, and many places rely on selling cultural and creative stamps. It can be regarded as stimulating domestic demand. In short, please cherish these chapters once you get into the trap.
