Compared with last year's data, the number of programmers who have just worked has decreased significantly, and the number of programmers who have worked for more than two years has increased from 73.4% to 88%. It is likely to be caused by the epidemic situation and the reduced demand for employees by enterprises.
In the past few years, in-depth contact and communication with programmers, I found that many programmers are complaining that they work too long, resulting in little time to improve themselves. Therefore, in this questionnaire survey, the programmer's post station has specially increased the investigation of working time and learning time.
The picture above shows the time programmers spend at work every week. We can see a very interesting phenomenon, that is, 66.9% of programmers live an ideal working life of working five days a week from nine to five, and only 33. 1% of programmers work overtime to varying degrees, which is inconsistent with the statement that programmers generally work overtime seriously in this profession.
On this basis, less than one tenth (8.6%) of programmers work 996 hours a week or more.
