Nianli is a unique traditional festival in western Guangdong. The so-called Nianli means that there is one every year! Among the many traditional festivals in China, the Spring Festival is the most lively. However, in the Lingnan area in western Guangdong, there is a festival that is more important than the Spring Festival, and that is the folk cultural customs with local characteristics - Nianli. On this day, the village is a paradise for foodies, and its liveliness can be seen from the traffic conditions - special traffic police are on site to direct the village. Traffic is almost paralyzed during the peak hours of 5 and 6 pm, and anxious customers even drive directly through the farmland.

The annual regular season is a major driving force for economic development in western Guangdong. During the New Year banquet, at least three or five people will have a banquet. During this period, prices in the meat, vegetable and fruit markets have increased significantly. In order to best prepare for the New Year, the villagers built roads and bridges, carried out various infrastructure construction, and purchased various furniture and electrical appliances for their houses. Various decorations were carried out; singing and dancing art troupes were invited to entertain, etc., which greatly promoted the development of the local economy.
