Miao villages like to be built by mountains, while Dong villages are mostly built on both sides of rivers, separated by water. You can enjoy the trip slowly. In Chengyang stockade, the most beautiful and eye-catching bridge is always Fengyu Bridge, and the most beautiful one is Yongji Bridge (also called Chengyang Fengyu Bridge).
Chengyang Bazhai is a microcosm of the southern Dong nationality. The houses here are all wooden diaojiao buildings, which are built on the mountain or near the water. These diaojiao buildings are generally four stories, with farm tools, livestock, firewood and so on.
