Coconut is a kind of fruit food in shipwreck DLC, which can be obtained by cutting down large palm trees with an axe. They can't be eaten, roasted or cooked in the pot. They can be planted on the ground and turned into palm seedlings.

When a player cuts down a fully grown palm tree, there is a 1% chance that a coconut will fall from the tree. The fallen coconut will do 20 damage to the player and can be picked up by the player.

Split coconut

Players can use machetes to get two coconuts, and split coconuts can be obtained by cooking on the fire. Coconut in both states can be eaten directly or cooked in a cooking pot to provide 1 fruit. Wild boar will accept coconuts in all states given by players, but will not produce feces.
