Who is Zhang Daqian?
Zhang Daqian: (190 1- 1984) The famous Ai, also known as Xiu, Ji Ling, is also known as Daqian, alias Daqian Jushi, or "Zhang Daqian". A native of Neijiang, Sichuan, was influenced by his mother, who was good at painting, and his second brother, Zhang Shan, who was famous for painting tigers and claimed to be "tiger crazy". He studied poetry and calligraphy under the famous teachers Zeng Nongzuo and Li Mei. In addition to copying historical sites, I also traveled all over the world, taking nature as my teacher, and gained outstanding sincerity through hard study. In his youth, he was as famous as his second brother Zhang Shan. He is in his twenties. He studied in Japan and studied dyeing and weaving. After returning to China, he once fell in love with Buddhism. He went to Ning Tian Tong Temple to "convert to Buddhism" and wanted to become a monk. It is said that he was afraid of burning nine incense sticks on his head, so he had to wait for Master Hong Raft to leave before coming to the real world. When he was young, he played a very good hand with Shi Tao and Ba Da Neng. The Collection of Painting of Shi Tao, which he painted in his early years, was treasured by famous connoisseurs and painters. As an "original" of Shi Tao, he boasted in front of painting friends, and was pointed out by Zhang Daqian, which was later passed down as a much-told story, which proved that Qian's skill and achievements in copying the traditional paintings of the ancients in his twenties were amazing. After 1940, Zhang Daqian spent two and a half years sorting out figures and copying the Dunhuang Grottoes in China, enriching painting techniques. He lived in Hong Kong from 65438 to 0948, and then in India, France, Brazil and other countries. Taiwan Province Province died in 1984 at the age of 84.

Zhang Daqian is famous for his good painting of lotus flowers, and is known as "the peak of painting lotus flowers in ancient and modern times". In this Rongbaochun auction, there is also a lotus painting by Zhang Daqian of 1980, with an estimated price of 1.5 million yuan to 2.5 million yuan.
