The sketch of Rongguo Mansion is shown on the left in the picture below. The author described it through Lin Daiyu's first visit to the Mansion, which was paved by a pair of discerning eyes of Lin Daiyu. (The red arrow shows the "visit" route of Daiyu Jiafu.)

The layout of Rongfu is similar to that of the Qing Palace in Beijing. The main courtyard (the female with the highest seniority and status in Jiafu) = Cining Palace (the living place of the Empress Dowager)? Middle main courtyard = three halls? Fengjieyuan = Kunning Palace (the place where the Empress lives)
