Ejinhoro Banner is located in the hinterland of the "Golden Triangle" of Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos. Located in the southeast of Ordos Plateau, on the northeast edge of Mu Us Sandy Land, it is adjacent to Dongsheng District in the north, facing kangbashi district across Ulan Mulun River, bordering Zhungeer Banner in the east, Hangjinqi in the west, Wushenqi in the south and Shaanxi Province across the Great Wall.
