Why can Jigong eat meat while other monks can't?
I look at this problem this way:

Successful practitioners are not ordinary people, and not everyone can learn from them. Just like a lion can jump off a cliff, a rabbit can't learn it casually. If he doesn't learn it well, he may fall to his death.

The monk Jigong does eat meat on the outside. But the difference between people who eat meat and ordinary people is that what they eat is dead and what they vomit is alive. Eating meat and spitting out living things is to show the magic of Buddhism, not to educate people to eat meat.

In this regard, Jigong, a Buddhist monk, made it very clear in his case: someone sent a servant to bring him a roast chicken. When he caught it, he ate it and immediately knew that the servant who sent the chicken had stolen a chicken wing. Ask the servant who delivered the chicken if you ate it secretly. The servant denied it. The monk Jigong immediately spat out the roast chicken, which turned out to be a live chicken without a wing. The servant who delivered the chicken was shocked and finally had to admit that he was stealing vegetables.

Similar cases are returned to the public, as are other successful Buddhists. There was a Zen master whose name I don't remember. It is very sad to see local people doing evil everywhere, but never doing good. I tried my best to persuade people to do good deeds, but no one listened. Finally, the Zen master was very helpless and felt that people here were really difficult to educate. At a wedding reception, the host invited the Zen master to hold a wedding reception. At the banquet, the Zen master ate fish hard and kept eating, eating more than others. Everyone said in surprise, "Don't you eat meat?" Advise us not to eat all day. How did you eat yourself today? "The Zen master said," You all eat, so do I.. "The local people are very happy and feel that the Zen master finally likes to do evil as they do. Then after dinner, the Zen master called everyone together and began to spit fish out of his mouth. A fish is full of live fish, and he spits out as much fish as he eats. Afterwards, the Zen master sat down in person. When the locals saw it, they were all shocked. It turns out that Buddhism is so incredible that there must be a reason why the Zen master advised people to do good. From then on, turn evil into good.

These great achievements eat meat, not because they like it or are greedy, but for the convenience of educating incredible Buddhism or guiding people to do good. This is not the behavior of an ordinary person.

The monk Jigong himself said: "Wine and meat cross the intestines, and the Buddha pays attention. If the world learns from me, it is equivalent to being possessed. " . Later generations are far-fetched and out of context. Take only the first two sentences, not the last two. It gives people the impression that monks in Jigong can eat meat, but other monks can't.

The above only represents some of my personal views, which are not necessarily correct or perfect. I hope it will help you, and I hope you will choose carefully after seeing it.
