Alai, male, Tibetan, 1959 was born in Marcand County, Sichuan Province. He is a famous contemporary writer, the youngest winner in the history of Mao Dun Literature Award, the chairman of Sichuan Writers Association, and a member of the presidium of the Eighth National Committee of 1 Chinese Writers Association.
