The first food I want to introduce is the Madill Popsicle on Harbin Central Street. Mattel popsicles sell well in winter and summer. What I didn't understand when I came to Harbin was why Harbin people also like to eat popsicles in winter. What is even more puzzling is that all popsicles are sold outdoors in boxes, and there is no refrigerator. The more people eat popsicles in winter. The reason is related to the special climate in Harbin. Although Harbin is also very hot in summer, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and it won't be too hot in summer, so there are not many popsicles to eat. In winter, people inevitably want to eat something cold. The average temperature in Harbin is MINUS 20 degrees in winter. So the popsicle is placed outside the window, and the outdoor is a natural big refrigerator. Madill Popsicle has a history of 100 years. The raw materials are milk and eggs, without bulking machine and additives. It can be said that it is sweet but not greasy, and there is fragrance in the ice.

The second kind is roasted cold noodles, which is made of local wheat flour in Harbin, and has a long growth cycle, so it is stronger. Spread a cold noodle on the iron plate, beat an egg, brush with special sauce, sprinkle with coriander, onion and various seasonings, which is soft and delicious and fragrant. Grilled cold noodles are the most eaten snacks in my university for four years, and I still miss the roasted cold noodles in the snack street outside our university.

The fourth is pimple. We also have pimples in Henan, but they are not as delicious as those in Harbin. Doudou soup with eggs, tomatoes and acne as the main ingredients is the staple food of our university for four years' dinner. Light, nutritious and delicious.

Of course, there are definitely more than these four kinds of food in Harbin, as well as three fresh herbs, pork-killing vegetables and goose stew in iron pot ... But for a foreigner who has lived in Harbin for six years, braised pork and three fresh herbs are the special flavor left by Harbin and the key to my memory in Harbin.
