There are 26 families in our production team, about 140 people. Everyone eats in a pot, so some people call it "big pot rice".
In the first half of the year, it was ok. In addition to paying public grain and purchasing grain in a unified way, all the grain of the production team is reserved for unified meals. However, in the spring of 1960, the food ran out, and after three years of natural disasters, there was no food for everyone in the canteen. Sometimes the cooked porridge is described as "blowing a bubble and drinking a trough". In the second half of 196 1, we dug wild vegetables and bark everywhere, and we ate all the food we could fill. Our production team starved to death.
1962 in the second half of the year, the state put forward the policy of "adjustment, consolidation, enrichment and improvement", decentralized canteens, and each family started a new business, but the land was still owned by the collective, and each family earned work and went home to the production team to distribute grain.
