Go back to your hometown for half a month during the Spring Festival to see how you can save your life for the vegetables in the flowerpot without spending money.
Some vegetables are planted on the balcony for the baby to eat, and it is very tangled every time I take a long vacation. The soil in the flowerpot is shallow and the air in the room is dry. It takes two or three days to water the vegetables, and it can only last for a week at most. If no one waters them for a long time, Caicai will only die. I tried drip irrigation with a coke bottle, holding a towel in a basin, and putting a flowerpot in a low temperature environment to reduce metabolism, but the effect was not good. The first two methods flooded the vegetables before I left for my hometown, and the third method dried up.

This year, I decided to change the method, that is, turn potted vegetables into hydroponics, and then turn them back into potted plants after the festival. The result is quite satisfactory.

Step 1: Pull out the hydroponic vegetables and clean the roots.

Step 2: Soak the cleaned vegetable roots in purified water for 1-2 days.

Step 3: Pour the soil in the flowerpot into the pot and soak it in water for 24 hours until the water becomes clear.

Step 4: Find out the coke or sprite bottle, wallpaper knife, scissors and fruit net cover at home, as shown below.

Step 5: Fill the treated cola bottle with the flowerpot soil water clarified in step 3, and insert the vegetables into hydroponics. Be careful not to soak all the vegetable roots in the water, and leave 1/3 on the water.

Step 6: After returning home at the end of the term, move the hydroponic vegetables back to the basin.
