Lilac Garden, with my favorite cakes and vegetarian dishes, was originally named Fourteen Canteen, which was completed in June 1987 and renamed Lilac Garden Canteen in February 2006. The school flowers whose names come from Tsinghua are Bauhinia and Lilac. As a university with a long history and profound cultural background, the luxuriant bauhinia represents the enterprising spirit of Tsinghua students, while the white, soft and fragrant white lilac is a symbol of the virtue of the alma mater. The canteen is called Lilac. Although the area is not large, the food is as elegant and fragrant as Lilac. The overall use area of the canteen is 1300 square meters, and the canteen can accommodate 600 people at the same time, which mainly guarantees the basic meal supply of the teachers and students of the whole school. There are many kinds of main and non-staple foods, such as a la carte, stir-fry, casserole and mala Tang, which are mostly of northern taste and compatible with the local flavor of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Jiangxi. The canteen is good at steamed buns, crock simmer soup, spicy incense pot and bibimbap, and provides all kinds of snacks from north to south.
