Geographical location:

Wenshan city is located in the southeast of Yunnan province, between east longitude103 43'-104 27' and north latitude 23 06'-23 44'. It borders Yanshan County in the northeast, Maguan County in the south, Xichou County in the southeast, mengzi city in Honghe Prefecture in the west and Pingbian County across a river. The city spans 63 kilometers from east to west and 66 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 2977.38+09 square kilometers.

Climate environment:

Wenshan city is located in the low latitude plateau in the southeast of Yunnan Province, bordering the Beibu Gulf in the southeast and the Bay of Bengal in the southwest. The water vapor in these two directions brought abundant rainfall. The Tropic of Cancer crosses the city boundary, and most of the city boundary is south of the Tropic of Cancer, which belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate. In most areas, there is no cold in winter, no heat in summer, long spring and autumn, short winter and summer, and pleasant climate in four seasons.

Terrain:

Wenshan city landform belongs to the karst mountainous area in southeast Yunnan, with complex landform and prominent karst landform. The overall terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with rolling mountains and criss-crossing valleys. There are Zhubo Mountain, Li Anyun Mountain, Huayu Mountain and Laojun Mountain in the west, and the slope is generally above 25.
