1930, after resigning from Xinfeng Building, one of the "Eight Buildings" in Beijing, the famous chef and famous hall Liu Anhe took away 20 masters. With the support of 5,000 yuan invested by Yao Zesheng, manager of Tongde Bank, and Yong Shengyuan, manager of Xidan Shopping Mall, they chose the original site of Jinan Spring Restaurant in zhushikou to open Fengzeyuan Restaurant.
Before opening, Yao Zesheng called shareholders to discuss the opening of Fengze Garden, an ancient garden building in Zhongnanhai. Yong Shengyuan, manager of Xidan Shopping Mall, recommended and invited Li Qi, a great calligrapher and so-called genius, to attend.
Sure enough, Li put forward new suggestions in Fengzeyuan. He said: "Houses, porches, buildings and vegetarian restaurants are all tacky. I think the name' Fengze Garden' is the most appropriate, and the word Fengze symbolizes the richness and moisture of dishes. At the same time, the word "Ze" in Fengze Garden is the same as the word "Ze" of Yao Zesheng, the major shareholder, and also contains the meaning that Yao Zesheng is the major shareholder, which is a good omen for wealth.
This name was not used by the emperor in the past and may not be used in the future. It can be used anyway. Everyone agreed to borrow the good name of "Fengzeyuan" as the name of the restaurant, that is, Li Qi was asked to write the plaque.
1943, Luan opened "Fengze Garden" in Shanghai International Hotel; 1945, Luan opened the "Fengze Garden" opposite Baogong Yamen. At the same time, the "Fengze Garden" was opened in Tianjin, and the dog ignored it.

At the end of 1946, due to uneven dividends, the contradiction between labor and capital intensified. On August 15 of that year, Luanxuetang celebrated its opening 16 anniversary, and more than 30 people, including Xu Yonghai, Sui, Zhen and Chang Yushan, who had already colluded with each other, suddenly rebelled, which led to the closure of Fengze Garden and went to court. The lawsuit has been going on for five months, and Luan Tangxue lost.
After five months of business suspension, when 1947+0 reopened in June, Zheng Fuxiang was the only famous chef of Jinan cuisine. Lu 'an invited Guo, Li and others to the stove to offer suggestions for the survival and development of Fengze Garden.
These people all belong to the famous chefs of Jiaodong gang. Judging from the cooking level of Fengzeyuan, it can be said that there is a glimmer of light behind every dark cloud: from Jinan restaurant, which only manages Shandong cuisine, to Jinan restaurant, which manages Jiaodong cuisine, Fengzeyuan became the most representative Shandong restaurant in Beijing at that time.
