This ancient Yanzhao culture created the chivalrous style of Xingtai.
The story of Yu Rang-thorn and Zhao's orphan has been handed down from generation to generation in this land and is praised by people. Historically, Yu Rang was a native of the State of Jin, and Zhi Bo, Minister of the State of Jin, respected him very much and called him a national scholar. Zhi Bo failed to conquer Zhao Xiangzi and was defeated and killed by Zhao Xiangzi. Yu Rang said, "A scholar dies for a bosom friend, and a woman enjoys herself. I must avenge Zhi Bo. " He changed his name and surname, and hid in Xingyi (now Xingtai City), which was enfeoffed by Zhao Xiangzi, waiting for the opportunity. On one occasion, he took a dagger and hid it in a toilet in Zhao Xiangzi, intending to assassinate him. He was discovered by Zhao Xiangzi, and the assassination ended in vain. The second time, Yurang drew himself, turned him into a furuncle patient, swallowed charcoal, lost his voice and begged in the street. Even his wife didn't recognize him when she saw him. He was alone in the reeds in the north of Xingyi. One day, Zhao Xiangzi was cruising here, and Jade Jean hid under the stone bridge to assassinate Zhao Xiangzi again. But this assassination also failed. Finally, Zhao Xiangzi had to take off his clothes and let Jade chop it several times. Although Jade Jean failed in assassination and was killed, this allusion has something to do with "A scholar dies for a bosom friend, and a woman loves herself." Pass it down.
In fact, in the long history, there are many stories of generous heroes handed down.
There is a ranger in Handan who is "rich after thousands of battles, and he has avenged himself several times without dying";
Jing Ke, an assassin of Yan State, said, "The wind blows and the water cools, and the strong men are gone forever."
Song Wu and Jingyanggang hit the tiger with their bare hands;
There is Zhang Fei, "when the sun shines high, the bridge rings loudly, and the bridge breaks water and flows backwards";
There are also the "six gentlemen of the 1898 Movement" who failed and died generously, which is really admirable and yearning.
Han Yu, one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, once wrote "Zhao Yan's generous elegy", and the poet Li Bai also wrote the poem "Zhao Ke Hu Man Wu Yinggou frost and snow". The silver saddle and the white horse set each other off and galloped. Within ten steps, kill one person, cross a thousand miles, leave no one behind. I brushed my clothes and went to hide in my name. "This poem highly praised the chivalrous spirit of Yan and Zhao.
Judging from the geographical location of Zhao Yan, Zhao Yan area spans the Central Plains and is controlled by the vast desert outside, with deep land, clear sunshine and cool weather. Therefore, it has always been a battleground for the Central Plains military strategists and is famous for being a hero. Du Mu, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty, lamented that this place was "the land where kings get kings". There are many famous soldiers on the land of Zhao Yan, and the army from Hebei is also brave and unusual.
