Mayang sugar orange, commonly known as rock candy bag and sugar orange, is named after its high sugar content. It is a local excellent variety selected from 1965 seedling variation of common sweet orange in Qianyang County, Hunan Province. Mayang sugar orange is petite, round and smooth as a lantern ball, with bright orange color, thin skin and thick flesh, firm meat and a little characteristic freckles on the skin.

There is a strong orange fragrance. After peeling the orange, the fragrance is scattered and it smells super healing. Mayang sugar orange is not big, but it is full of meat and juice, full of attractive oranges, and has the title of natural juice. When you take a bite, your lips and teeth are full of juice. If you take a few more bites, it's like taking a big sip of natural fruit orange.

Oranges can be kept fresh in the refrigerator or soda water.

If the room temperature is relatively high and needs to be stored for a short time, oranges can be packed in fresh-keeping bags or net bags and stored in the freezer. Pay attention to control the temperature at about 4 to 6 degrees Celsius and store it separately from other foods to avoid odor.

If you need to keep oranges for a long time, you can use soda water to keep oranges for a long time. Coat the surface of the orange with soda water, then let it dry naturally, and then put it in a plastic bag for sealed preservation. In this way, soda water can form a film on the surface of the orange to protect it, and the plastic bag is isolated from the air, thus prolonging the storage time of the orange.
