Although potted plants are very popular now, many people can't grow blueberries well. It's not that blueberries are hard to grow, but that you don't have the right method.
How to raise potted blueberries? First, if the soil wants blueberries to grow well and produce many sweet fruits, soil configuration is very important.
When walking, pine trees can be seen everywhere, which comes in handy when raising blueberries.
Go to the roadside and look for some pine trees everywhere, bring back pine needle soil under the pine trees, dry it first, and then add it to the flowerpot.
Besides pine needle soil, we can also add some other soil, such as humus soil or perlite. These different ingredients can make the soil more porous and breathable, which is more conducive to the growth of blueberries.
The soil in the northern area is usually alkaline. In order to make blueberries grow better, we can also mix some white vinegar with water in the kitchen and add it to the soil.
Pay special attention to the concentration when configuring. If the acidity is too high, blueberry leaves turn yellow easily.
Second, wet blueberries like wet environments. Usually it is only necessary to make the basin soil slightly wet.
When the leaves turn Huang Shi, ferrous sulfate solution can be added appropriately.
If you really don't know when to water blueberries, you can dig deep under the soil with your hands. When you find that the soil in the basin is one or two centimeters dry, it means that blueberries are extremely short of water.
When blueberries blossom and bear fruit, there must be no less water. If you water them too little, the taste of blueberries will be affected, and even blueberry juice will not feel enough.
Third, topdressing Many flower friends usually only care about fertilizing blueberries, but forget to topdress blueberries. In fact, every time we harvest blueberries, we need to topdress them.
When you find that your blueberry only bears one crop a year, which can't satisfy the whole family, you might as well consider whether you forgot to topdress it.
After harvesting blueberries, you can apply a thin layer of fertilizer to them. After tasting the "sweetness", blueberry seedlings will naturally grow harder and bear the next crop of fruit faster and better.
Now is the best planting season. I wonder if you have a soft spot for sweet and sour blueberries? If you like blueberries, you might as well clear out the vacant lot at home and try to plant one or two. Usually, it doesn't take much time and energy. When the fruit is ripe, it can easily meet the needs of the family.
