How to cook duck with rock sugar
Cut the duck legs into pieces, wash and drain, add cooking wine and white pepper, mix well, and marinate for more than half an hour.
Heat oil and add appropriate amount of rock sugar.
When the rock sugar has just melted, add the ginger slices, cinnamon bark, and star anise, and saute the duck meat until fragrant.
Add cooking wine.
Add light soy sauce
Add water to cover the ingredients, reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Reduce the juice over high heat, sprinkle with chopped green onion, and nibble~
Tips
If you add too much rock sugar, it will turn black.
