Long Fu was called Tiaozi 'ao in ancient times, also known as Neo-Dior. During the Japanese occupation, I built a railway to get through the traffic between Keelung and Yilan, but because the railway could not pass through the south, it was called "Nanyou", hence the name Neo-Dior. Get out of Long Fu Railway Station, cross Binhai Highway, pass Long Fu Bridge and walk along the left road, which is the old street in Long Fu. There are many bento shops in front of Long Fu Station, which have become the most representative local brands. Old and new buildings stand side by side on the street, and the resplendent Dongxing Palace next to the square is the center of residents' beliefs, which enshrines Prince Sanfu and Tiannv. Every June 18, Prince Sanfu's birthday, and Mazu's birthday on March 23rd of the lunar calendar are local events.
Because Long Fu is located in the center of the Northeast Coast Scenic Area, the Northeast Coast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Management Office is also located here to serve tourists. Leisure attractions in this area include Fulongtan, bicycle lanes and Longmen camping area. In summer and autumn, tourists from all directions gather here, camping between heaven and earth, splashing water on golden beaches and galloping on the bicycle lanes along the seashore. How happy I am!
