With the vigorous development of the catering industry, catering management has become increasingly complex, so it has become the development trend of the catering industry to systematically manage the catering business through computers. Establishing a restaurant management system integrating menu management, table management, ordering management and settlement management is an important way to improve the quality and efficiency of catering services.

This paper analyzes the functional requirements and functional requirements of the system, and based on programming with vc++6.0, designs and implements a multifunctional restaurant management system with Access as the database. Analyze the system design framework through use case diagram, e-r diagram and other views. This system is divided into four modules, which makes this restaurant management system have the functions of menu management, table management, ordering management and settlement management, and can add, delete, modify and empty dishes. Finally, this paper deploys an application environment of catering management system. The results show that the feasibility and effectiveness of the restaurant management system meet the design requirements.
