Data of ancient Houyi
Later, people talked about the story of "Houyi shooting at the sun", which means "Houyi". Hou Yi came from the ancient Yao Dynasty, and his wife was the famous Chang 'e. At that time, Hou Yi was a famous marksman who helped Yao shoot nine suns. Since then, Yao has won the support of the people, and Hou Yi has been praised by the people.

When I came with today's place names, Hou Yi lived in Shangqiu City, Henan Province. Legend has it that during the reign of Emperor Yao, eight people were deeply poisoned by nine suns and the earth on earth was scorched. Because the weather is particularly hot, many wild animals have been dispatched one after another, adding more disasters to the world. After seeing this tragic situation, Hou Yi began to struggle with Sun. Along the way, Hou Yi killed many wild animals and finally came to the coast of the East China Sea. He took out his red bow and arrow, chose a good angle and shot at the sun. In a short time, he shot out nine suns in the sky, bringing vitality and vigor to the earth again.

There is another historical legend about Hou Yi. Hou Yi was summoned by the Emperor of Heaven to go to earth to destroy the redundant sun. Hou Yi lived up to his mission and accomplished it brilliantly. Because Hou Yi is good at archery, he not only shot down the sun for the world, but also got rid of poisonous snakes and beasts for the world and won the love of the people. The people were so grateful for Hou Yi's achievements that they regarded him as the "Arrow God". The Emperor of Heaven made many achievements and praised Hou Yi. Hou Yi has repeatedly made great achievements and won the envy of some immortals in heaven. They falsely accused the Emperor of Heaven, Hou Yi. The Emperor of Heaven listened to the slanderers of some immortals and disliked Hou Yi more and more. Soon after, Hou Yi and Chang 'e were sent to the earth. Not used to poverty, Chang 'e took the elixir of life and flew into the Moon Palace. Hou Yi was very sad, depressed all day and died soon.

Who is Hou Yi's wife? Hou Yi's wife is Chang 'e, who is a figure in ancient mythology. Chang 'e's father is Di Jun and her mother is Chang 'e Xi. Chang 'e is also called Chang 'e. In the Western Han Dynasty, in order to avoid similar pronunciation with China Emperor Liu Heng, later generations called Chang 'e. There is another saying that Chang 'e has a surname, that is, Chun Hu.

Once, Hou Yi got a pack of elixirs from the Queen Mother. Chang 'e took the elixir of life alone and flew into the Moon Palace to become the fairy of Chang 'e. Only after the publication of Huai Nan Zi did the world know the relationship between Chang 'e and Hou Yi. According to legend, the founders of monogamy are Chang 'e and Hou Yi. In Taoism, people who study Taoism regard Chang 'e as the moon god and also call her the moon star king.

Later, the story of the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon was circulated among the people. First, Hou Yi became famous for shooting at the sun. Later, he married Chang 'e, and they were very loving. Hou Yi got a bag of elixir from the Queen Mother and gave it to Chang 'e for safekeeping. Pang Meng knew the elixir existed and forced Chang 'e to take it out. In desperation, Chang 'e ate the elixir and became a fairy. Hou Yi misses Chang 'e very much and calls her name to the night sky every night. Hou Yi's sincerity touched the sky, and Hou Yi actually saw the figure of Chang 'e in the moon palace. He hurriedly laid out the gong table and put Chang 'e's favorite food on it. After learning the story of Chang 'e and Hou Yi, people and children put food under the moon to commemorate Chang 'e. Moved by the true feelings of the world, Yueniang allowed Houyi and Chang 'e to meet at the full moon every year. Every year, when the moon is at its fullest, Chang 'e and Hou Yi can reunite. They meet under the osmanthus tree and tell each other their hearts. Later, people designated the party as the Mid-Autumn Festival, and they also had the custom of Yue Bai.

When did Hou Yi come? Hou Yi came from Xia Dynasty. During the Taikang period, Houyi tribe rose, and Houyi thought he had enough ability to compete with Xia Dynasty. Hou Yi waited in the lower reaches of the Yellow River to become the ruler of the Xia Dynasty. Hou yi's archery is superb, and he can return home with a full load every time he hunts.

Because the tribe is located in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, geographically speaking, it is beneficial to human living and living. Hou Yi is the leader of the tribe. People in the tribe respect him very much and are willing to listen to his orders.

When Xia Qi came to power, no other tribe dared to resist. After Xia Qi's death, Taikang reached the peak. Taikang is a monarch who does nothing and lives in a muddle. I am addicted to hunting all day, and I have no time and energy to manage Xia politics, and I have no leisure to worry about tribal affairs. Because of Taikang's inaction, Hou Yi continued to strengthen his strength in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. Once, Taikang went out hunting, and the more he played, the happier he became, and he left the matter of returning to the palace outside the cloud nine. By the time he remembered going home, it had been more than one hundred days. Taikang stood on the south bank of Luoshui, overlooking the other side. There are many people. Knowing that I couldn't go back, I turned back to the south bank of Luoshui. Hou Yi thought that he could not seize power too hastily, so he supported Taikang's younger brother Zhong Kang as emperor. During this period, Hou Yi bought people's hearts everywhere, laying a good foundation for seizing power in the future. After Zhong Kang died, Hou Yi continued to support Zhong Kang's son Xiang as the new king. Soon after, Hou Yi abolished Xiang's status as monarch and drove Xiang and his wife out of the Summer Palace and exiled them. In this way, Hou Yi became the sixth monarch of Xia Dynasty. However, Hou Yi's throne was not stable, because he was addicted to pleasure and was later killed by his confidant.

After Hou Yi became the ruler of Xia Dynasty on behalf of Xia, the people lived a very hard life, enjoyed themselves and exploited their money and food. After Xia Qi's death, Xia Qi's son Taikang succeeded to the throne. At this time, the battle for the throne in the Xia court intensified. The five Taikang brothers fought for the throne one after another, and the Xia court seemed to be in chaos.

Soon after, another Wu Guan Rebellion happened in Xia Dynasty. It can be said that at home and abroad in Xia Dynasty, people had no time to care about other things in order to crusade against rebellion. Knowing that his opportunity had come, Hou Yi led his army into the Summer Palace and seized the sovereignty of the Xia Dynasty. After Hou Yi proclaimed himself emperor, he drove Taikang away and took the Xia regime into his own hands. After Hou Yi came to power, he did not change the poor and weak life of the people in Xia Dynasty. He carried forward the cruel and lewd virtue of the Xia kings, and the people of the Xia Dynasty fell into hot water again. Hou Yi is very talented in archery, and he almost hits every shot. He devoted himself to hunting, riding and shooting, and handed over state affairs to Han Zhuo. On the one hand, Han Zhuo flattered Hou Yi, on the other hand, he acted quietly to strengthen his own strength. When hunting in Houyi, Han Zhuo captured the heart of Xia Dynasty. Han Zhuo instigated the tribal people who colluded with Hou Yi to buy off the brave and kill Hou Yi and his family, so Han Zhuo gained the sovereignty of the Xia Dynasty and became the king of the Xia Dynasty.

Later, Sima Qian recorded the story of Xia Dynasty in Historical Records, which also mentioned the story that Hou Yi replaced Xia. Influenced by fairy tales, people think that Yi and Hou Yi are the same person, but they ignore that there was a usurper in the history of Xia Dynasty. Hou Yi not only became the sixth king of Xia Dynasty, but also ruled Xia Dynasty for eight years.

Hou Yi's legends Huai Nan Zi and Shan Hai Jing both recorded the legendary story of Hou Yi. "Huainanzi" said: "At the tenth sunrise of Yao, crops are burned and plants are killed, and the people have no food. Shoot it on the 10th, and all the people are happy. Yao thinks it's the son of heaven. " In the ancient Yao Dynasty, there were ten suns on the earth.

These ten suns hung in the sky day and night, crops failed and fields were deserted. What is even more frightening is that the sun is so vicious that all the water in the river has evaporated, and all the rivers are doomed to dry up. People have no water resources to drink, no food to fill their stomachs, and many people starve to death. Knowing the sufferings of the people, the Emperor of Heaven asked the marksman Hou Yi to help Yao shoot the sun. Hou Yi immediately rushed to the world without stopping, and was very sad to see the earth turned to scorched earth. I am ready to leave for the East China Sea at once. According to the book Shan Hai Jing, all kinds of wild animals came to the world one after another. They haunt fields and forests everywhere, causing more disasters. Hou Yi met many wild animals on his way to the East China Sea. For example, there are m, tooth digging, nine babies, gale, G seal, snake repairing and other beasts, which have very strong attack power, moody personality and great destructive power. On the way forward, Hou Yi made great efforts to kill these wild animals. After many hardships, Hou Yi finally came to the coast of the East China Sea. He took out his bow and arrow and shot at the sun in the sky, one by one. Yao asked Houyi to leave a sun to facilitate people's production and life. Later, Hou Yi shot down nine suns, leaving only one sun to illuminate the world.

The place where Houyi shot the sun, Sanjiujian, was located in Tunliu County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, and later renamed Laoye Mountain. The local people built a temple to worship Hou Yi, calling him a deity.
