Water spinach, formerly known as Ipomoea aquatica, also known as rattan, Ipomoea aquatica, heartbreaking, heartless, urn, empty tuber, bamboo leaves, water saving. White trumpet-shaped flowers with hollow stems are called "water spinach". Vegetables are widely cultivated in rural areas in southern China.
Water spinach contains protein, fat, sugar, inorganic salts, nicotinic acid, carotene, vitamin B 1, B2, vitamin C and so on.
