She men like wine. Everything, big and small, can't be separated from wine, and so can chatting. Adults like to drink their own home-brewed glutinous rice wine and "sweet potato wine", while children like to eat the "distiller's grains" they eat together at home.
"Sweet potato wine" is made by steaming shredded sweet potato, adding malt, saccharifying with enzyme, taking its juice, boiling, cooling and mixing with glutinous rice wine brewed at home for three days, that is, sweet potato wine. Another method of making sweet potato wine: soak sweet potato rice in water and cook it, or cook fresh sweet potato, then add distiller's yeast, ferment and distill. This wine is as sweet as honey, and it makes people drunk. "nine niang Bad" is brewed rice that is sweetened by fermentation for only 2 to 3 days. Dietary customs
The diet of the She nationality is the same as that of the local Han nationality. The staple food is rice and sweet potato rice, and the miscellaneous grains are wheat, sorghum, millet, corn, duck's paw, pumpkin, potato and taro.
