Dashun City Ruins
DaShun City was built in the fifth year of Tianxi reign of Song Dynasty (AD 1021). In the second year of Qingli in Song Dynasty (AD 1042), Fan Zhongyan of Qingzhou rebuilt it. At that time, the war between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Western Xia Dynasty continued. After Fan Zhongyan became the military commander of Huanqing Road, he personally led the army to build this walled city in the present Huachi Villa. Song Renzong gave the city the name "Dashun City". Later Fan Zhongyan wrote the famous line "Fisherman's Proud Autumn Thoughts" here. It is now a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
