The ancient buildings in NanWen Zi Village of Miaoshan Town are the best preserved and largest in Laiwu. It is divided into four houses: East, West, South and North. Now there are more than ten complete quadrangles, which are independent of each other and can present a square mansion as a whole. Because the whole mansion belongs to the Zhang family, there is a small side door connecting the quadrangle. In case of major festivals or festive activities, open the side door, and the whole square mansion will become an integrated mansion for the whole family to hold family activities such as celebrations and sacrifices. At that time, the halls were named Dunxin Hall, Jishan Hall and Qingyu Hall, and there were Chen Yi Headquarters in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Zhang Boxiang's former residence and Datong Bookstore. This ancient building complex was built before the middle of Qing Dynasty.
2. The "Cantonese-style Long House" represented by the ancient buildings in Beiwen Village.
Miaoshan Town has an ancient building with northern characters, which is owned by a big businessman doing business in Guangdong, so it is influenced by the ancient buildings in Guangdong and reflects its architectural style. Its basic form is four independent quadrangles, north and south side by side, independent of each other, with a unified central axis. Hutong is unified in the east of the ancient building.
3. The "Wujialou Desktop Ancient House" represented by Lantou Gu Lou.
The owner of Gu Lou in Lantou Village, Zhuang Yan Town is the Wu family. There are three quadrangles in the north and south of an ancient street, which were later owned by the Wu family. The most distinctive one is the northernmost one, the quadrangle is well preserved, and its main house rises from the high platform, which has the characteristics of pavilions. There is also a flower viewing building in the west. Elegant and charming, with the feeling of Conan Taiting Garden.
4. The "quadrangle-style" Li Family Courtyard represented by ancient buildings.
At present, only the quadrangles with Li Family Courtyard in Kerong Village, Hezhuang Town as the center and east and west courtyards on both sides are found in Laiwu. The central street of the village is symmetrical and divided into two houses, north and south. The Li Family Courtyard is the south courtyard. The gate faces north, and there is a shadow wall behind the entrance. Turn left and enter the second door. There is a long alley in the south. The east side of the alley is the East Courtyard, the west side is the main courtyard, and the west side of the main courtyard is the West Courtyard. The East-West Courtyard and the Main Courtyard are complete quadrangles. There is a date on the roof purlin of the gate, which was built in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty.
5. The "hall" represented by Nanyu, Shankou, Chengzi County and Keronggu buildings.
Strictly speaking, this should not be one of them. This kind of punishment is a punishment that highlights its characteristics. The main hall or main hall in traditional quadrangles in China is mostly the front mansion supported by colonnade columns. In folk vernacular architecture, people commonly call it "Tang". Divide this into one category, aiming at citing villages with complete halls from the perspective of protecting integrity.
6. Gu Lou-style architecture represented by ancient buildings in Chengzi County, Daguanzhuang and Tuanli.
The ancient buildings in Chengzi County are divided into front building, back building, front building and back building, and the front building is divided into east building and west building. In the north of the village, there is also the Wang Family Courtyard. It can be said that there are relatively many ancient buildings preserved. The front building is a hall, and the front building and the back building are the ancient buildings mentioned in this paper. It's a two-story attic with wooden stairs and wooden floors. Taking the West Building as an example, we know that it was built and renovated by Zhu Jia, and was once owned by Zhu Maomian, an official donor of the Qing Dynasty. According to the ancestral order of his family-Jue-Ben-Yu-Mao-Er-Si-Ying-Cong, we can accurately and clearly infer that its construction and repair date was in the late Ming Dynasty. The ancient buildings in Daguanzhuang also present the appearance of ancient buildings, and many courtyards have been preserved. Among them, on the east side of the main hall of the north-south quadrangle, there is an attached second-floor Gu Lou. Tuanli village is well preserved now, with one or two attics. All the above buildings in Gu Lou face south. Although it is in the purlin position, it is not a traditional quadrangle building in the ordinary sense.
7. The "double-walled" ancient house represented by Zhao Jiaquan and Gu Lou.
The double-walled ancient building in Zhaojiaquan Village, xin zhuang zhen is located in the northeast of Zhaojiaquan Village. The present owner is Shen Xiaoping, and the era is Qing Dynasty. This is a standard quadrangle ancient building, which is basically well preserved except for the tile on one side of the north house. Well-preserved gatehouse, quaint screen wall, exquisite woodcarving, and almost intact small Xiaoqing bricks and tiles give this ancient building a relatively high standard. A major feature of this ancient building is that the back wall of the north house is a double wall to prevent bandits, and the thickness can reach one meter.
8. Ancient buildings with special cultural significance
Former residences of celebrities (such as Le 'e Zhai), religious buildings (such as Guanyin Pavilion and Guandi Temple), family ancestral temple (such as Jia Zhu Ancestral Temple built by Zhu Tongmeng in Chengzi County), places where major historical events occurred (such as Laiwu County Party Committee, county government stationed in Kouzhen and Laiwu Campaign Command Post) and post stations (such as Xiaocaocun Post Station) all belong to this category.
