Brief introduction of Maofeng Mountain
The natural landscape is fascinating, and there are many human landscapes, especially the Millennium Temple in Mao Feng. The most humanistic landscape feature of Maofeng Mountain is this ancient Maofeng Temple located in the northern depression of Maofeng Mountain. There is an inscription on this ancient temple saying that it was rebuilt more than 600 years ago. According to another legend, the ancient temple was originally a place where young scholars in the ancient city of Northern Song Dynasty studied, and there is no textual research. There are an endless stream of pilgrims in the ancient temple, and incense continues all year round.
Because the mountains are steep, the valleys are deep, the trees are lush, and the flowing water is gurgling, especially after the rain at dusk, the peaks loom between the clouds, just like wearing a big white hat, hence the name Maofeng Mountain.
There is a Hakka restaurant near the TV signal tower at the top of Maofeng Mountain, which specializes in Hakka-style food, such as Hakka secret seafood, roast goose, roast chicken and Hakka boiled chicken. Due to the unique geographical location and natural environment of Maofeng Mountain, there are some unique peasant foods here, such as landscape tofu and landscape taro made by Hakkas. The landscape rain of Shanxia Reservoir is a unique coriander.
