1. Peel the old pumpkin, slice it (the thinner it is, the better it will be cooked), steam it in a pot or cook it in a microwave oven.
2. Put glutinous rice flour, sugar and corn starch into the basin. Stir well.
3. After the pumpkin is warm, knead it with glutinous rice flour until it doesn't stick to your hands (as shown below). I didn't take pictures because my hands were covered with rice flour during the kneading process.
4. Divide the kneaded rice flour dough into small doses of equal size, knead it into a circle (about the size of an egg), and wake it for ten minutes.
5. Wash the prepared medlar for later use.
6. Take a toothpick and draw pumpkin lines on the dough in an appropriate way.
7. The surrounding environment is the same as above.
8. After drawing the line, put a medlar in the center of the pumpkin as the pumpkin handle (medlar can also be replaced by other ingredients).
9. Prepare a steamer with a wet and clean emery cloth (to prevent pumpkin pie from sticking to the steamer). If there is no clean wet emery cloth, you can brush it with a thin layer of oil.
10. Put the prepared pumpkin pies into the steamer, and each pie is separated for a period of time. Fire with cold water and steam for about 15 minutes.
1 1. Is steamed pumpkin pie cute? Don't take it out in a hurry It is still soft after steaming. Better let it cool down. Pick it up with chopsticks and put it on a plate.
12. Let it cool before eating. QQ bounces to make you feel better.
