According to legend, during the prosperous Tang Dynasty, merchants from Persia, Dalian and other countries gathered in Guangling (now Yangzhou), and Hu cakes were passed down, so there was a "cake maker". Yangzhou bakers not only used unique materials, but also improved the fermentation, crispness and stuffing, and became a well-known Yangzhou double-baked cake, and thus invented the crab shell yellow baked cake, namely Huangqiao baked cake.
The main raw materials for making Huangqiao sesame cake are flour, lard, peanut oil and sesame. The flour used must be medium gluten, and neither strong gluten nor weak gluten is suitable for making. The sesame seeds used must be peeled, and the color and shape of the peeled sesame seeds must not be changed. Generally, there are two flavors: salty and sweet. 4. Flower bread
Pingyang dough sculpture, commonly known as Hua Mo, is a simple Han folk art form in Pingyang. Shili custom is unusual, and the forms and styles of dough sculptures vary from place to place. Some win with boldness, some win with elegance and nobility, and some are famous for their beauty and delicacy. Their common characteristics are: beautiful shape, simple composition, diverse forms and rich content, which are deeply favored by people. Among them, huozhou city is more prominent. In the first year of a girl's marriage, her family must send hundreds of "mutton buns in soup" to her daughter on July 15. The reason why it is called "mutton steamed stuffed bun" is because in ancient times, sheep were auspicious, meaning auspicious; He also said that the lamb was alive and kicking, with liveliness and cuteness; There is also a saying that once upon a time, a rebellious son was harsh on his mother and refused to change his teachings.
