Specific circumstances:

The battle of Songshan started on June 4th. 1944. The Chinese Expeditionary Force 7 1 Army New 28th Division and its subordinate regiment 1 17 are responsible for this attack. Due to heavy casualties, it was taken over by the Eighth Army of the General Reserve after the war. The battle lasted until the evening of September 7, when the Chinese Expeditionary Force wiped out the last Japanese army, thus winning the battle of Songshan. During the 95-day battle of Songshan, the expeditionary force invested 24,000 troops and launched ten general attacks, with 7,773 casualties. In the end, all the 1 280 Japanese troops trapped in Songshan were wiped out, and 9 Japanese troops and 4 comfort women were captured. This is the first time that China has recovered its lost territory since War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

Tengchong campaign

Specific circumstances:

The Chinese Expeditionary Force first crossed Gaoligong Mountain and then began to surround Tengchong City. In the battle of nearly four months, the expeditionary force paid a heavy price of about 9,000 people killed and about 9,000 injured, only then did it destroy all the tenacious defenders in Tengchong and recover Tengchong City.

In the Tengchong Campaign, the Chinese Expeditionary Force annihilated more than 800 Japanese soldiers/KLOC-0, including 53 Japanese soldiers and comfort women.
