Wu Cheng'en, the author of The Journey to the West, said that Tota Li Tianbao Pagoda was presented by the Tathagata. In the Romance of the Gods, it is dedicated to the Taoist priest who lights the lamp for the disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun in Yuxu Palace.
What's the use of this pagoda? Today's "Yuan Yi Yuan" will talk about this topic for everyone to exchange and discuss.
1. Self-defense: especially to prevent the Tang Priest, the third prince of Nezha, from falling into the bottomless pit of jade rat essence, being robbed of his abode of fairies and immortals and being forced to get married.
Just when the Monkey King tried to catch the jade rat essence to save the master, he found that instead of saving the master, he was stabbed by the "poisonous horse stump" that the jade rat essence cocked up!
Three steps into the bottomless pit, Sun found an important clue: a memorial table in the cave supported two large gold plates: the position of your father Li Tianwang and the position of your brother Nezha's third prince.
According to the original Journey to the West, the Monkey King quietly put two gold plates and incense burners in his arms and came to heaven to tell the Jade Emperor about the imperial status of Li Tianwang and his son.
The Jade Emperor took the Monkey King's form paper and gave instructions on it, so that Taibai Venus took the form paper as an imperial edict and went to Yunlou Palace to invite Li Tianwang to see him.
It happened that the Monkey King was afraid that there would be "little tricks" among them, clamoring to go with him.
Nezha saw his father's impulsiveness and went forward to hold a sword to calm his father down!
"Yuan Yi Yuan" noticed that this was a normal action, but it surprised Li Tianwang. Why is the heavenly king so afraid of his son?
There is a reason for the myth of westward journey. Nezha made a scene in the Dragon Palace, tearing off the skin of the Dragon King's son and cramping, which caused great disaster. Finally, Nezha cut off the meat and returned it to his mother, and boned it to his father.
The rest of the souls came to the Western Heaven to ask for Buddha. Nezha was transformed into a lotus leaf by the Buddha, and Nezha was resurrected.
After being thoroughly remoulded, Nezha sought revenge from his father. Tathagata Buddha gave Excavate a golden pagoda, which was to surrender Nezha and to resolve the enmity between father and son.
On that day, the Monkey King came to Yunlou Palace. Li Tianwang didn't hold the tower in his hand, but was frightened by Nezha's sword.
The contradiction between Li Tianwang and his son Nezha is described in detail in The Romance of Gods.
Nezha gouged out his intestines and bones, and scattered three souls and seven souls. Later, under the guidance of Master Zhen Taiyi, he was asked to give his mother a dream and set up a palace in Cuiping Mountain.
Mother loves her son very much. She built a palace for Nezha in Cuiping Mountain, which also contains a statue of Nezha.
When Nezha Palace was completed, there were signs everywhere, attracting people from far and near to pay homage without exception, and the incense was very strong.
Li Jing, then the company commander of Chentangguan, thought that Nezha harassed his parents before his death and fooled the people after his death, so he picked up a golden whip and smashed Nezha's golden body, and set fire to the temple.
Lonely and helpless, Nezha turned to Master Taiyi for help again. Taiyi turned herself into a lotus Nezha in order not to delay the appointment of the Three Realms.
"Extraordinary without dirty bones, into the holy will find love and die. Since then, I have returned to the Lord, and Zhou has borrowed it. "
Nezha's reappearance of the incarnation of Lotus, his spear and two rounds of wind and fire, as well as the original artifacts such as Gankun Circle, Miantianling and Golden Brick, greatly increased his martial arts.
In order to avenge Li Tianwang's smashing the golden body, Nezha and his father once beat each other to death, but after persuasion and mediation by Manjusri Guangfa Tianzun and Taoist priest, the effect was not good.
Finally, the lantern-burning Taoist gave Li Jing a beautiful pagoda to pay homage to Nezha's discontent.
It's no wonder that in Journey to the West, Nezha made a natural move to prevent his father from making mistakes on impulse, but Li Tianwang was scared out in a cold sweat and quickly took the tower in his hand.
Nezha's role is not only self-defense, but also to subdue demons and guard ShaQi. This is what the so-called river demon in Baota Town said.
