The head and breastplate are oval, and the width of adult crab nails can exceed 15 cm. The back is quite convex, the surface is smooth, and there are blunt teeth between the front and rear side edges. The back of the whole body is orange red to light brown, and the abdomen is goose yellow. Eleven dark purple spots are symmetrically distributed on the head and back and breastplate. With these spots, it looks more like the incarnation of ladybugs. There have also been incidents of eating this crab poisoning abroad, which should be avoided.
Distributed in Hainan Island, Taiwan Province Island, Xisha Islands, Japan, Hawaii, Australia, Indian Ocean to Red Sea and the east coast of Africa.
