The two sides also agreed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of non-traditional security under the guidance of the new security concept with mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality and cooperation as the core. China and Africa will also actively urge the international community to pay attention to and help resolve conflicts in Africa, and strive to safeguard Africa's fundamental interests in the UN Security Council. China is willing to strengthen cooperation with Africa in preventing, controlling and resolving regional conflicts.

According to the action plan, the China government has decided to continue to provide development assistance to African countries within its capacity.
