1, install the Elementor plug-in.

In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to the plug-in and install it. Search for Element and click Install. After installing Element, click Activate.

2. Create a website page

We have introduced the basic preparations and settings, and you have prepared all the contents. Now let's start building the page. In this tutorial, we will build a simple website, which includes home page, menu page, about page and contact us page.

3. Use Elementor to build your home page.

After installing the plug-in, now let's start building the home page, go to Page Options, and then click New Page. Let's title the page as Home Page, and then click the Save Draft button. We must form the habit of constantly saving our work. If there is an emergency, we can recover, which can reduce the chance of losing the fruits of our work. Under the heading, click the Edit with Elementor button to open the editor of the plug-in.

4. Import Elementor template

The easiest way to start using Elementor is to apply the template in the template library, so that you can find out how this effect is set and explore what the tool can do in real-time environment. Click the Add Template button near the center of the screen.

5. Change the page layout

When hovering the mouse over the template, you will see a light blue control panel, and the middle icon is the editor of this part. Click this icon to display the left panel view, edit the template layout, and you can see the content width below the layout. Click to change the layout to full width.
