Andrographis and water boiled hot will be toxic?
Andrographis must not be boiled with water, because andrographis heated to a certain temperature is oxidized to the highly toxic ingredient arsenic trioxide, which is arsenic. It is highly toxic.

Andrographis, is the common name of arsenic tetrasulfide, also known as stone yellow, gold stone, cockle stone, usually orange-yellow granular solid or orange-yellow powder, soft, brittle. Often with estradiol, that is, arsenic trisulfide (As2S3), pyroxene, cinnabar *** raw; heated to a certain temperature in the air can be oxidized to a highly toxic component of arsenic trioxide, that is, arsenic.

Drinking andrographis water intoxication manifestations are:

(1) acute gastroenteritis manifestations throat, esophagus burning sensation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, "rice slop"-like feces (sometimes with blood), can lead to water loss and circulatory failure, prenephrotic renal insufficiency and so on.

(2) Neurologic manifestations There are headache, dizziness, fatigue, numbness around the mouth, generalized aches and pains. In severe cases, there are agitation, delirium, delusion, muscle spasms of limbs, blurred consciousness to coma, and death of respiratory center paralysis. Delayed multiple peripheral neuritis appeared 3 to 3 weeks after acute poisoning; manifested as muscle pain, numbness of the limbs, pins and needles-like sensory abnormalities, upper and lower limb weakness, symptoms of distal limbs proximal to the symmetrical development of the limbs, and later hyperalgesia or disappearance of sensation, severe patients with drooping feet, drooping wrists, accompanied by muscular atrophy, the disappearance of Achilles tendon reflexes.

(3) Other organ damage Acute inhalation of arsenic compounds is mainly manifested by coughing, sneezing, chest pain, dyspnea, and even pharyngeal and laryngeal edema, resulting in asphyxiation. Digestive tract symptoms occur later and are milder. Skin contact sites can have local itching and rash, a week after the appearance of chaff-like flaking, followed by local hyperpigmentation, hyperkeratosis. Acute toxicity 40-60 days, almost all patients have white transverse stripes on the fingernails and toenails (Mess lines), which move to the tips of the toes as they grow and disappear after about 5 months. Toxic hepatitis (hepatomegaly, abnormal liver function or jaundice, etc.), myocarditis, kidney damage, anemia, leukopenia or leukocytosis occur.
