Yellow croaker is easier to breed. Pelteobagrusfulvidraco, also known as Pelteobagrus fulvidraco, is a common freshwater fish in the family Pelteobagrus. The body is elongated, slightly stout, the snout is inclined to the dorsal fin, and the back is flat.
The head is slightly large and flat, and most of the back of the head is bare. The dorsal view of the snout is blunt and round. Big mouth. Eyes are the same size. The ventral fin is short and the end reaches the gluteal fin. The anus is about equal to the starting point of the anal fin and the back end of the pelvic fin base. The caudal fin is deeply forked and rounded at the end. The living body's back is dark brown, and it turns pale yellow to the abdomen. There is a narrow yellow longitudinal band above and below the lateral line, and a yellow transverse band above the ventral fin and the gluteal fin, which crisscross to form intermittent dark longitudinal patches. There is a dark longitudinal stripe in the middle of the two leaves of the caudal fin.
