How to make okra
1
Wash and de-stem okra.
2
The best way to eat okra is whole or halved. If it feels too big, cut it into segments like I did. But don't cut into thin slices or julienne strips, as the nutrients are easily lost that way.
3
Make a pot with the right amount of water and bring it to a boil, add a few drops of cooking oil and salt and add the okra. Blanch for 3 minutes to remove astringency.
4
Strain out and soak in cold water.
5
Remove and drain, plate and add garlic paste.
6
Add your favorite seasoning according to your taste. I prefer light flavors with very little seasoning. The seasonings you add in order are: salt, sesame oil, and Ajinomoto soy sauce or soy sauce. Mix well and serve.

Very simple yet very refreshing!
