1. Prepare a small tomato.
2. Make a diagonal cut at about 1/3.
3. Keep only the most part and discard one-third.
4. Place the cut on the chopping board downward.
5. Cut into two symmetrical halves from the middle.
6. Put the two cut halves together and you’re done!
Notes on cutting small tomatoes into heart shapes:
1. Practice makes perfect when cutting vegetables. Be sure to pay attention to the safety of your fingers when cutting.
2. It is recommended to use a deli cutting board and a special kitchen knife that can cut quickly.
3. Before using the chopping board and kitchen knife, be sure to disinfect and sterilize them. Run boiling water over the chopping board and kitchen knife.
4. Wash the small tomatoes and soak them in tap water for 2-5 minutes to allow the residual pesticides to dilute and evaporate to ensure safety when eating.
