Cyclosulfoketone
Development: Cyclosulfonone is a new type of triketone herbicide developed by Bayer Company. It was first registered in Austria in 2007 and has been registered in dozens of countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, USA, Mexico and Serbia.
Mechanism of action: Cyclosulfonone is an inhibitor of p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase, that is, HppD inhibitor. By inhibiting the synthesis of p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase, it leads to the accumulation of tyrosine, which hinders the biosynthesis of plastoquinone and tocopherol, and then affects the biosynthesis of carotenoids. Weeds turn green and yellow, and die within 2 weeks.
Action spectrum: it can be used to control gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in corn fields. Such as radix Arnebiae, amaranth, wild licorice, buckwheat, alfalfa, millet grass, chamomile, chickweed, clover, xanthium sibiricum, cornflower, erigeron, Chenopodium album, sunflower, morning glory, ragweed, Euphorbia spurge, barnyard grass, crabgrass, false sorghum, millet, foxtail grass, ox grass, burdock, etc. It has a good effect on malignant weeds and resistant weeds in corn fields.
Typical characteristics: Cyclosulfolane has higher activity than mesotrione, which can protect corn from ultraviolet rays, has the characteristics of broad spectrum and rapid action, and is highly compatible with the environment. It can be used to control annual gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in corn fields, and to control cross-spectrum weeds, mainly annual weeds of Setaria and Chenopodium. At the same time, cyclosulfonone also has a strong killing effect on various weeds such as Cirsium, Convolvularia, Veronica, chili pepper, Zunma, ChunHuang Ju, and Grifola frondosa, and can also play a role in weeds resistant to herbicides such as glyphosate, dicamba and ALS inhibitors. The herbicide has a long weeding period, maintains good weeding activity in the whole growth period of crops, has strong rain erosion resistance and is safe for crops (including subsequent crops).
Development prospect: the global sales of sulfolane in 2009 was USD 300 million, reaching USD 95 million in 20 10, rising to USD10/20 million in 20 12. In 20 14, the global sales of sulfolane increased sharply again, reaching $240 million, up 14.3% year-on-year, and its compound annual growth rate in 2009-20 14 reached 510.6%. The annual sales of 20 15 was 230 million USD, and in 20 15, cyclosulfonone ranked seventh among corn field herbicides and second among HppD inhibitor herbicides. With the further expansion of the registration scope of the relevant companies and the expiration of the patents of this product in more countries, the market prospect of this product is very broad.
Main advantages of preparation products: 5% mesotrione dispersible oil suspension; 30% mesotrione terbutzin dispersible oil suspension; 34.5% mesotrione suspension; 33.9% mesotrione thiosulfuron EC, etc.
Oxazolidone
Development: Imazalofon is a triazolinone herbicide discovered by Bayer 1988, which was introduced at the World Plant Protection Conference in Brighton, England in 1999. In 2004, Alistar Biochemicals North America Co., Ltd. transferred Bayer's technology.
Mechanism of action: Azinphos-methyl is a photosynthetic inhibitor, and the typical symptoms of sensitive plants are chlorosis, stopping growth, tissue yellowing and eventually death, and it is cross-resistant with other photosynthetic inhibitors (such as triazine herbicides).
Spectrum of action: Azimuth is a selective contact herbicide for pre-and post-seedling treatment, which is mainly absorbed by roots, and germinated seed seedlings can also be absorbed by leaves. It is suitable for pre-seedling treatment to control annual dicotyledonous weeds, broad-leaved weeds, gramineous weeds, sedges and perennial weeds in corn fields, sugarcane fields and lawns, such as abutilon, Chenopodium, Amaranthus, Xanthium sibiricum, sweet potato, centipede intestines, Miscanthus, barnyard grass, poinsettia herb and Tribulus terrestris.
Typical characteristics: The biggest advantage of imazodone herbicide is its long weeding time, stable efficacy, safety to groundwater and subsequent crops, and its dosage is only1/2 ~1/3 of atrazine, and it also has the effects of stem and leaf treatment and sealing.
Development prospect: in 2007, its sales volume was less than USD 30 million, and it was USD 90 million in 20 14. The compound annual growth rate in 2007-20 12 was 2 1. 1%, and in 2009-20/kloc-0. Many enterprises have realized the advantages and development potential of imazodone, especially in the case of more uncertainty in the re-evaluation conclusion of atrazine, the product has a good development space.
Main advantage preparation products: 70% imazalofop water dispersible granules; 26% nicosulfuron-methyl-imazodone dispersible oil suspension; 36% mesotrione, oxazolidone and ametryn wettable powder, etc.
terbuthylazine
Development: Tedingjin is a corn field weeding product promoted by Syngenta, Andaomai, Oxon, Dow Yinong, Herbos and other companies all over the world. This product has a large market in weeding corn fields in Europe and is in the process of growth in countries and regions such as America and Asia.
Mechanism of action: terbuthylazine's mechanism is to inhibit the electron transfer in photosynthesis. After plants absorb terbutazone, it conducts in the extracellular system, enters the thylakoid membrane of chloroplasts through xylem, and binds with QB protein in the electron transfer chain of photosynthesis, so that the function of QB protein is destroyed, and electrons cannot be transferred continuously, which finally hinders photosynthesis.
Action spectrum: It has selective systemic conduction, and the drug can be absorbed from roots, or infiltrated into plants from stems and leaves, and transported to green leaves to inhibit photosynthesis. Generally, it has a better effect on newly sprouted weeds. It can control annual broadleaf weeds and gramineous weeds.
Typical characteristics: terbuthylazine has the characteristics of low cost, strong compounding and low toxicity, and has obvious advantages compared with atrazine, and will soon become a new generation of "companion" products for weeding in corn fields.
Development prospect: terbuthylazine, as a triazine herbicide, comes from the same door as atrazine, and its action principle and application technology are basically similar, but it has its unique features, namely, short residue period, wider weed control spectrum, good crop safety, and no resistance to continuous use, which can be used to control most weeds. Terbutzin has strong compatibility and can be compounded with mesotrione, mesotrione, nicosulfuron, sulfosulfuron-methyl, alachlor, bentazone, diuron, formyl aminosulfuron-methyl, glyphosate, methyl iodosulfuron sodium salt, metolachlor, etc.
Main advantage preparation products: 30% terbuthylazine suspension concentrate; 30% mesotrione terbutzin dispersible oil suspension; 49% terbuthylazine mesotrione metolachlor suspension emulsion, etc.
Benzoxadiazon
Development: Benzoxadiazon is the first phenylmethyl pyrazolone herbicide developed by BASF.
Mechanism of action: Post-emergence herbicide, p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase inhibitor, has a good control effect on weeds resistant to glyphosate, triazines, acetolactate synthase inhibitor and acetocoenzyme A inhibitor, and can effectively control the main gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds on corn crops worldwide.
Action spectrum: used to control gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in corn field in warm season after seedling, such as crabgrass, barnyard grass, cattail grass, green bristlegrass, wild millet, Chenopodium album, Polygonum hydropiper, abutilon, Amaranthus retroflexus, ragweed, Datura stramonium, Achyranthes bidentata, Portulaca oleracea, Xanthium sibiricum, Solanum nigrum, Emilia sonchifolia and so on.
Typical characteristics: safety to corn and subsequent crops is the core factor for this product to become the dominant weed control product in corn field. Benzoxadiazon has high activity, extremely low dosage, wide application period after seedling, flexible use and wide weed control spectrum, and can control gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in warm season, especially effective control of resistant weeds such as Setaria viridis, Sargassum, and Herba Ajugae.
Development prospect: 20 1 1 year, oxadiazon was registered and listed in China under the trade name "Baowei". In 20 12, BASF listed its product Armezon in the United States, which was used in corn, residential areas and lawns. The sales of oxadiazon continued to grow strongly, with a compound annual growth rate of 33.6% in 2009-20 14. In 20 19, oxadiazon gradually became more and more popular in the field of corn field weeding in China, and the contradiction between supply (small) and demand (large) was prominent and the price remained high. The core reason for this situation is that the supply of raw drugs is very small. The patent of oxadiazon in China has expired, and it is in the initial stage of rapid development in China and around the world. The synthesis technology of oxadiazon has been gradually conquered by enterprises in China. After mass production, this product will surely become one of the core varieties of weeding in corn fields, with strong development potential and broad market prospects.
The main advantage preparation products: 30% oxadiazon suspension; 30% oxadiazon dispersible oil suspending agent; 30% oxadiazon terbutzin dispersible oil suspending agent, etc.
There are many kinds of weeds in corn field, which have a great influence on corn yield, and chemical weeding is still the core means of weeding in corn field. Therefore, corn field is a kind of crop with a large amount of herbicides. The above-mentioned weeding products in corn fields all have good development prospects. We suggest that enterprises committed to developing weeding products in corn fields should pay attention to it and research and develop supporting products as soon as possible to avoid being at a disadvantage in the future weeding market competition in corn fields.
