Is corn flour high in sugar?
Sugar content generally refers to carbohydrates, while corn flour contains high starch, so corn flour has high sugar content, but corn crude fiber content is also high. The sugar content of old corn is 2.3% lower than that of rice, but its crude fiber is about 9 times that of rice.
