How many switches does the thermostat of the water dispenser have? What's a good test?
The water dispenser has two temperature control switches. A temperature between 95-98 degrees, control the boiling water, and automatically cut off the power supply when the water in the boiling water tank boils. The other temperature is 85 degrees, and the temperature of the boiling water tank is controlled to drop. When the temperature of the boiling water tank drops to 85 degrees, the power supply is automatically turned on to start heating.

Because the thermostats will have open circuit and short circuit faults, that is, they will be energized and not energized for a long time, there will be two thermostats on the wall of the hot water tank of the water dispenser (double protection, the thermostats will move up and down, generally according to the principle of hot up and cold down, the upper thermostat will move first). It's very simple to measure the temperature controller of drinking fountain, as long as you have an electric pen.

Specific operation:

1. First plug in the power supply and turn on the hot water switch when there is cold water in the tank. Under normal circumstances, the two ends of the heater electrode of the hot water tank become one fire and one zero, so that the thermostat with the meter is electrified. If it starts to heat up, the heater with meter is normal. If there is no fever, it can be concluded that the heater is on.

2. If the heater is not heated, and both ends are in live or neutral state, it can be concluded that a thermostat is broken. If both ends of the thermostat are in a neutral state, that thermostat is broken.

3. If the temperature control does not jump after the water is boiled normally, the simplest method is to replace two temperature controls (generally, it is concluded that both temperature controls are short-circuited).

Note: As the thermostat of the water dispenser is also a butterfly switch, it is a dish-shaped element (bent downward) made of bimetal (materials with different temperature coefficients) to close the contact. After being heated (at the specified temperature), the dish-shaped element tilts upward to open the contact, thus making it on and off at the set temperature. It is difficult to measure the control temperature of thermostat by amateur method. If in doubt, you can only use the substitution method.
