What is acesulfame?
Acesulfame K is a food additive.

Acesulfame-k (acesulfame-k, also known as AK sugar) is the fourth generation synthetic sweetener in the world. Its sweetness is 200 times that of sucrose, and it has the characteristics of good taste, no calories, no metabolism and absorption in human body, and good stability to heat and acid.

Acesulfame K is not metabolized in human body. It can reduce the calorie content when used in food and beverage instead of sucrose, and it is more suitable for diabetics without increasing the insulin burden and blood sugar content of patients.

application area

As a non-nutritive sweetener, acesulfame K is used in food and beverage in the general pH range, and its concentration is basically unchanged. It can be mixed with other sweeteners, especially with aspartame and cyclohexyl sulfamate. Can be widely used in solid drinks, pickles, candied fruit, gum sugar, table sweeteners and other foods.

1988 The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of acesulfame in food, and the daily intake (ADI) was 0~ 15mg/kg. 1998 FDA approved the use of acesulfame in soft drinks. The sweet taste is pure and strong, which lasts longer than that of sucrose, and it has obvious synergistic effect when combined with aspartame1:1.
