Radiation protection fruit that computer families must eat!
Scientists at the American Space Radiation Laboratory have proved that eating strawberries can help astronauts avoid the radiation of cosmic rays. According to the American magazine Nature, the scientific research team led by Burrard Robin simulated a space radiation environment. During the eight-week experiment, they gave 98% mice ordinary food and 2% mice food with frozen strawberries.
At the beginning of the experiment, both groups of mice had adverse reactions due to radiation, but as time went on, the researchers found that those mice who ate ordinary food became weaker and weaker, while those mice who ate strawberries became more active.
Why can a small strawberry have the "heavy duty" of radiation protection?
This has to start with its nutritional composition. Every 100g of strawberry contains 50-100g of vitamin C, which is more than10 times higher than that of apples, grapes and other fruits. Strawberry also contains a lot of vitamin E and polyphenols antioxidants. These nutrients can resist high-intensity radiation and slow down the damage caused by ultraviolet radiation to the skin, such as lipid oxidation, dryness and erythema. Therefore, people who are exposed to radiation from computers or other electrical appliances may wish to eat some strawberries frequently.
Cherry and carrot are also essential food for radiation protection!
