Siphon pot coffee making process
Siphon method is a simple and easy-to-use coffee brewing method, and it is also one of the most popular coffee brewing methods in cafes. Siphon kettle has another name, but it has nothing to do with siphon principle. Instead, the hot water in the lower sphere is pushed to the upper kettle, and the water in the lower kettle is cooled and then sucked back.

First, fill it with water-hook the filter element.

Fill the pot with hot water until it is marked with the "two copies" icon. Put the filter element into the upper tank, pull the end of the chain by hand and gently hook it on the end of the glass tube. Be careful not to loosen the hook suddenly and forcefully, so as not to damage the glass tube of the upper pot.

Second, ignite-plug the pot sideways-wait for a big bubble.

Light the alcohol lamp, insert the pot obliquely, and let the rubber edge touch the spout of the lower pot (don't worry, the upper pot won't fall off), so that the chain can be soaked in the water of the lower pot. Then boil the water and wait for the continuous big bubbles to come out of the pot. Just put the upper pan obliquely, and don't let it block the lower pan. Small bubbles don't count, and big bubbles appear. You can start grinding beans now. )

Third, righting-insert into the pot.

When large bubbles appear continuously in the lower pot, straighten the upper pot, gently shake it from side to side and gently press it down, so that it can be gently stuffed into the lower pot. After the upper pot is plugged in, you can see that the water in the lower pot begins to climb.

Fourth, let the water in the lower pot completely rise to the upper pot.

After the water completely rises to the upper pot, don't worry, wait for a few seconds, and then prepare to pour the coffee powder after the bubbles rising to the upper pot are reduced.

Four spoonfuls of coffee powder (about 40 grams) for two glasses of water.

5. Stir for two more times-turn off the fire.

After the first stirring, time 30 seconds, the second stirring, and then time 20 seconds, the last stirring-you can take off the alcohol lamp. Take a slightly wet rag (which has been wrung out) prepared in advance and gently wrap it around the side of the pot. Don't let the wet rag touch the place where the alcohol lamp at the bottom of the pot touches the flame, so as not to break the pot. At this time, you can see that the water on the pot is quickly "pulled" into the pot. If your coffee is fresh enough, there will be a lot of light brown foam in the pot at this time.

Sixth, complete

After the coffee is sucked into the lower pot, hold the upper pot with one hand and the handle of the lower pot with the other hand, gently shake the upper pot left and right, and pull the upper pot away from the lower pot. Pour coffee into a warm cup of coffee, and then enjoy this fragrant coffee prepared by yourself!
